About Us

St Matts is a church of ordinary people who meet together every Sunday (at 9:30am, 1331 Botany Road, Botany) to hear from the Bible about Jesus and the life he offers and how to enjoy this life to the full. We are a Bible based, Anglican church that is about seeing loads more disciples of Jesus in Botany and beyond.

Our heartbeat… what we get excited about…

Jesus said: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Our heartbeat is Jesus and we are on about making disciples of him. We  get excited when people come to meet him for the first time and when followers of Jesus live for him and experience the joy.

It doesn't matter if you grew up in church, never been to church in your life or haven't been to church in years - we would love for you to come along and bring any questions you may have with you.

We believe that Jesus’ call to follow him is still the most crucial and life changing calling around, we make it our mission to know and enjoy Jesus and share his life changing message with anyone who will hear it.
